  • Leather is a by product of the food industry and takes a material that would otherwise end up in landfill and turns it into something beautiful, that lasts and then biodegrades. So, leather actually is a benefit to the climate.

    We strongly believe in local. It’s friendlier for our planet if we endeavour to source all our materials as locally as possible. Our specialist leathers are produced by Italian tanneries. the tanneries have proven track records for care of the environment and the welfare of the stock animals used for the supply of rawhides.

  • Nene Valley Leather are a British distributor of Leather for seating applications. Based in the UK, we were started by Daniel Heginbotham in 2016. Daniel has over four decades of experience of leather and the interiors industry and is known as one of the principal experts in the industry. Nene Valley Leather is located in Northamptonshire – the heart of the UK leather industry. Our tanneries are based in Arzignano/Vicenza region of Northern Italy, famed for its leather production for generations.

  • Our prices are among the most competitive available, but we will never knowingly be undersold and would be happy to discuss volume based prices where appropriate.

  • Yes we regularly ship and supply customers on a global basis.

  • Our technical data sheets for the product are available on the products pages of our website. In addition, all of our colour cards and samples clearly identify which products are suitable for which applications. But if you are in any doubt, please contact our sales team for further information.

  • There are no banned or restricted substances within any of products nor products that could potentially pollute. Please refer to our technical data sheets (in our products section) for further more detailed information.

  • We believe we always supply the best quality but understand that as a natural material variations can occur. If however, you do have a problem with any of our leather, please call us as soon as possible. We will always work to find the best solution as are customers are considered our partners.

  • Leather is a natural product so it’s important to bear this in mind when working with it. Leather wears in rather than wearing out. This naturalness gives leather its beauty and unique character that distinguishes it from synthetic alternatives including vegan leather. These variations can be classed as the hallmarks of fine leather. Leather may fade over time, (degree dependant on leather range/type) and it will age over time. If you are at all unsure of suitability, please get in touch with our sales team or read more about the natural characteristics of leather.

  • Real leather is a natural by product rather than synthetics being made from climate harming raw materials.

  • Leather is not difficult to maintain. Please refer to individual range care guides for specific information. If any doubt we are happy to answer any specific questions.
