In the world of interiors, contemporary trends, by their very nature, come and go. But ‘vintage’…well…it never goes out of style, does it?
Offering a classic, distressed aesthetic and a natural feel, it turns even the most ordinary of pieces – and rooms – into something worth shouting about. A work of art, even.
In the spotlight today on the Nene Valley Leather blog, then, is our own Vintage leather range. It’s been used in projects aplenty lately, including Forest Sofa’s leather corner sofa collection, as well as for its stunning chesterfield sofas range – scroll down to see exactly how the sofa brand used our leather to great effect.
Discover Our Vintage Leather Collection…
With 11 colours in total in the range – ‘Chestnut’, ‘Coal’, ‘Cognac’, ‘Copper’, ‘Green’, ‘Mustard’, ‘Ocean’, ‘Oxblood’, ‘Rosewood’, ‘Tan’ and, ‘Truffle’ – you’ll be spoiled for choice if you’re looking for high-quality vintage wholesale leather. From neutral shades like ‘Copper’, and ‘Tan’, to calming colours like ‘Ocean’, and the hue most often seen on traditional chesterfield sofas – Oxblood – you really will have a tough time picking your favourite.
A natural, chrome tanned, half grain semi aniline leather, our Vintage range offers a semi-matt finish, a beautifully complex depth of colour, and a gorgeous, cracked characteristic.
The leather has a seal coat too, preventing soiling and scratching. A heritage leather that only improves with age, it’s perfect for domestic upholstery and contract/hospitality environments. With a smooth feel, the slightly hand dyed leather is a real favourite of designers and specifiers.
As with all our leather collections, and thanks to our partnership with Italy’s GM Leather, the quality of each hide is inspected during every step of the tanning process.
Let’s take a closer look at how Forest Sofas recently transformed our Vintage leather range…
First up, it’s Forest Sofa’s St David sofa, seen above in all its Vintage leather glory. In an equally stunning vintage-esque shade, this is a piece that’s bound to stand the test of time, while also more than looking the part in this gorgeously styled room.
Next, it’s the Hadleigh, featuring our Vintage leather and looking supremely comfortable, as well as massively easy on the eye.
Meanwhile, the Julian two-seat sofa is made even more attractive after being upholstered in our Vintage leather.
And finally…the St Dustan sofa from Forest Sofas looks stunning in Vintage leather – what do you think?
