XXXX Range
Featuring our ‘Florence’ and ‘Naples’ leather, the XXXX Range from Nene Valley Leather makes its way to you via our supplier in Italy.
While Naples offers a semi-aniline (waxed) finish, Florence has a resilient coating which is designed to prevent soiling and scratching. Let’s take a closer look at both products from the XXXX range.
Naples
Finish – Naples offers a semi-aniline (waxed) finish.
Aesthetic – It’s beautifully smooth, made from premium-quality North American hides to ensure a luxurious aesthetic for upholstered furniture pieces. With a buttery texture, the surface of the leather is a block colour, and the leather can be used to great effect for both contract and residential applications.
Colour – It’s available in a range of shades (including Blue, Dark Grey, Taupe, and Tan), meaning you’ll be spoiled for choice.
Florence
Finish – Offering optimum durability, Florence – which has an aniline finish – features a resilient coating, which helps prevent soiling and scratching. Strong, clean hides are specially selected to achieve an extremely good cutting yield. In short, you’ll be more than pleased with the quality of our Florence leather.
Aesthetic – An attractive, corrected grain pigmented leather, Florence offers a solid coating and it’s perfect for domestic upholstery. It’s also ideal in marine and contract/hospitality environments, making it a go-to product for manufacturers and specifiers.
Colour – Available in a comprehensive colour palette, choose from Almond, Amethyst, Forest Green, Ivory, and more, in our Florence leather.
Amalfi
Finish – A semi-aniline (waxed leather) of European origin, Amalfi is made from bovine hides via a specialist chrome tanning method.
Aesthetic – Gorgeously soft and featuring a combination of waxes and oils which bring out its character and class, this ageless, heritage leather gets better year on year. Ideal for interior design, residential or contract projects, this leather ‘wears in’, rather than wears out.
Colour – Available in Rust, Black, Brandy, Grey, Olive Green, Tan, and Tobacco, there are many more colours besides those to choose from in our stunning Amalfi leather.
Dune
Finish – Looking for a traditional-looking leather that packs a punch in terms of aesthetics and quality? Dune has a seal coat, which prevents soiling and scratching while retaining plenty of the leather’s original character.
Aesthetic – An economically priced leather, Dune might be a slightly cheaper option, but it certainly doesn’t skimp on quality. Offering an eye-catching aesthetic and great performance, it’s ideal in domestic settings or for contract/hospitality projects.
Colour – Choose from a range of traditional and contemporary colours, including Charcoal, Claret, Stone, Tan, Coffee and Grey.
Vintage
Finish – With a semi matte finish, our Vintage leather is a natural half grain semi aniline product with a complex depth of colour and striking, cracked characteristics.
Aesthetic – A stunning leather which offers a complex depth of colour, this is a heritage product which continues to get better with age. Ideal for domestic upholstery and contract/hospitality projects, it has a smooth feel, which only serves to add to its luxurious appearance.
Colour – Choose from Tan, Chestnut, Coal, Green, Mustard, Rosewood, Truffle, and more.
Antique
Finish – Ideal for residential settings, or for contract/hospitality projects, our Antique leather comes via Italy and has been tanned using the chrome method. With an aniline grain, it’s a traditional, rub-off leather which originates from Asia. It’s worth noting that the leather requires post-upholstery finishing to create this effect and add a seal coat, but the initial work is more than worth the resulting payoff.
Aesthetic – Made with residential, contract and hospitality projects in mind, our Antique leather is primarily used to upholster chesterfield sofas.
Colour –A range of traditional colours are available, including muted shades – such as Antique Harvest Gold, and Antique Olive.
Apache
Finish – With a distressed, matt finish, Apache has a smooth, silky feel and a wealth of natural characteristics across the surface of this stunning hide. A resilient coating has also been applied to the leather, to prevent soiling and scratching.
Aesthetic – Perfect in residential settings, Apache also looks the part in offices or in upholstery projects for the automotive industry.
Colour – Select your favourite Apache shades from 13, including Apache Black, Apache Blush, and Apache Ash, to name just three.
Crystal
Finish – Choose our Crystal leather and benefit from the fact it will lighten slightly when stretched, giving an attractive contrast of shades between the topcoat and the hide colour to the underside.
Aesthetic – A natural half grain, semi aniline leather, Crystal has a medium sheen and a subtle pull up characteristic.
Colour – You’ll be spoiled for choice when you select our Crystal leather; available colours include Crystal Black, Crystal Alga, and Crystal Buckskin, with many more options besides.
Nubuck
Finish – With a fantastic feel, Nubuck is a solid colour on the surface but has a deep knap to offer a stunning look for any pieces you choose to upholster in this premium-quality leather.
Aesthetic – Not only is our Nubuck leather plush, its natural character shines through with ease too; it’s made on top selection hides and specialist care is recommended.
Colour – Choose from Nubuck Black, Nubuck Burnt Caramel, Nubuck Taupe, or Nubuck Shadow.
Rancho
Finish – A heavyweight choice, Rancho – a semi-aniline leather – has a near-naked finish that brings out the character and timelessness of the hide.
Aesthetic – Its surface is transparent to ensure that the natural characteristics of the hide can be enjoyed by all.
Colour – Ideal for contemporary and heritage settings, this product gets better with age, ‘wearing in’ and not wearing out – choose it in one of five shades, including Rancho Black, Rancho Olive, and Rancho Cognac.
Tribe
Finish – Bringing character and class to any setting, thanks to its distinctive, hand-buffed surface, our Tribe sustainable leather will add a touch of luxury to any project. A transparent coating has been applied to the surface too; this ensures the leather performs well in use without detracting from the natural characteristics of the hide.
Aesthetic – Beautifully soft, this semi-aniline leather (which originates from Italy) has been hand-finished using a specialist distressing process. This results in an almost silk-like feel.
Colour – Ten shades are available in the Tribe range; choose from Tribe Sand, Tribe Syrup, Tribe Moss, and more.
